In a world often plagued by religious divisions, Ashirwada Pooja’23 is a beacon of hope and unity. Recognizing the importance of embracing diversity, Leo Club of University of Colombo took the initiative to celebrate different faiths by visiting four prominent religious places on the same day. The project's purpose was not only to seek blessings for the club's future endeavors but also to promote a sense of brotherhood and mutual respect among people of different faiths.

The success of Ashirwada Pooja'23 would not have been possible without the support and cooperation of the revered persons in each religious establishment. Their openness to welcome members of the Leo Club and their willingness to participate in this unique endeavor showcased their commitment to fostering harmony and understanding among different communities. The Venerable at the Vajirarama Temple, the Imam at Jumma Masjid, the Priest at St. Mary Church, and the Pujari at the Pillyar Kovil, all gracefully led the prayers and blessings. Their wise words resonated with the attendees, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect and cooperation to build a better world. Moreover, the Leos of UOC deserve heartfelt appreciation for their relentless efforts and dedication to making this project a reality.
