“POWER TO LEAD”
Kevin Kruse –
“Leadership is a process of social influence, which maximizes the efforts of others towards the achievement of a goal.”
When it comes to leadership, one of the most famous leaders in the world is Nelson Mandela. Born on July 18, 1918, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, the first indigenous president of South Africa, was the first president to be elected by a fully representative democratic vote. Before becoming president, Mandela worked against apartheid in South Africa and is also the leader of the African National Congress. Nelson Mandela's leadership is considered one of the most powerful and inspiring leadership models in the world. His leadership demonstrated the power of commitment to peace, justice, and human rights. Mandela was a talented leader because he was able to unite people around his goals. The main characteristics of his leadership were tolerance, sensitivity and determination.
The specialty of Mandela's
leadership was his ability to win the hearts and minds of his followers. He saw
the need for a long-term vision and the need to build peace and harmony in
society. His leadership demonstrated the value of patience and calmness in the
face of challenges. We can learn from Mandela's leadership that the power of a
leader is not the victory of an individual, but the victory of an entire
society. His leadership demonstrated that a true leader is a person who can
change the lives of his followers.
