“Sahurda Viyamana”– Phase 01

 “Sahurda Viyamana”– Phase 01

In the initial phase of our ongoing project, we carefully crafted the vision of a musical ode dedicated to the often-overlooked minor staff at the Faculty of Management and Finance. The goal was crystal clear: extend heartfelt gratitude to the diligent individuals who form the backbone of the faculty's seamless operation. Our plan, meticulously devised, unfolded into a one-hour symphony scheduled for the enchanting date of November 15, 2023. This wasn't just an entertainment escapade; it was a thoughtful gesture, complete with a delectable lunch and special badges, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of our unsung heroes. Recognizing the magic of collaboration, we enlisted the support of the Leo Club from the University of Colombo to weave essential threads into the success of our event.

As the much-anticipated 15th of November arrived, our well-laid plans transformed into a heartwarming reality. The dedicated members of the Leo Club played a pivotal role in orchestrating a flawless event. Adding an educational touch, a faculty of arts lecturer joined us, unraveling the significance behind each note of the musical program. The ambiance was further enriched by prospects – gifted musicians who volunteered their time, forming a melodious band that painted the air with vibrancy. The minor staff, the stars of our show, not only participated enthusiastically but reveled in the carefully curated program, marking the triumphant realization of the project's inaugural phase.

Our sincere thanks extend to all those who played crucial roles in bringing this initial phase to life. The unwavering commitment of the Leo Club, the expertise and enthusiasm of the faculty of arts lecturer, and the musical talents of the prospects all contributed significantly. Special acknowledgment is reserved for the minor staff, whose dedication is the unsung melody of our university's harmonious functioning. This collaborative endeavor showcased the sheer power of unity and appreciation within our academic family.

As the first phase of our continuous project, the success of the musical program paves the way for future project phases. The positive impact on the well-being of our minor staff underscores the importance of sustained initiatives fostering a supportive and appreciative university community. This successful event sets a precedent for positive change, showcasing the potential when diverse groups come together in the spirit of appreciation and community support.
