One Drop 7.0 | Phase 02: Hands of Hope "Every drop counts. Every watt matters!" In the distant lands of Lahugala, Ampara, far from the bustling city of Colombo, where kidney diseases have deeply affected the community due to unsafe water, hope arrived with the second Phase of Project One Drop 7.0. titled "Hands of Hope," this initiative aimed to provide a lasting solution to the water challenges faced by the people in this region. On 26th of December 2024, the Leo Club of University of Colombo proudly extended support to the Divisional Hospital Lahugala, ensuring access to safe and clean drinking water. At the heart of this mission was the donation and installation of a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, which would remove harmful contaminants from the water.
