Miles of Smiles 2.0 - Phase 02
Currently, premature birth has become a ceaseless problem in the globe as well as in Sri Lanka. Correspondently, the Leo Club of University of Colombo decided to donate the necessary materials to the premature children in Sri Lanka with the aim of enriching the lives of vulnerable children in the country while stating the conclusion of the journey of Miles of Smiles.
The necessary materials were donated to the premature birth children in the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, Colombo 08 on 25th February 2021 along with the contribution of Leo members.
Required milk packets and fruits were donated as the necessary materials to premature birth children and the team was admired by the healthcare attendees of the hospital as premature birth children are not addressed by many of the communities in the country.
Miles of Smiles 2.0 was concluded with the enormous contribution of everyone attaining the objective of eliminating the malnutrition and illness of these vulnerable children who are in financial struggles.
