“මතින් තොර හෙටක්” - Phase 3
The Leo Club of the University of Colombo “මතින් තොර හෙටක්” project was a powerful initiative aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse in the community. This project was organized into three phases, and the final phase took place on the 27th of April 2023. The volunteers of the Leo Club posted the posters in public places throughout Colombo and Galle cities. It includes public places such as police stations, stadiums, and other areas where they would be seen by a large number of people.
These posters were carefully designed to convey a message that was both thought-provoking and impactful. They urged people to decide to be free of alcohol and drugs and to choose a path that would lead them towards a brighter future. The volunteers knew that their mission was an important one, and they were determined to make a difference in the lives of those around them.
In the end, the “මතින් තොර හෙටක්” project was not just about pasting posters - it was about spreading awareness, creating change, and inspiring others to join in the fight against drug and alcohol abuse. It was about making a difference, no matter how small, and leaving a lasting impact on the community. The volunteers of the Leo Club of the University of Colombo had done just that, and their efforts would never be forgotten.
