දිරිය ප්රණාම – Phase 01
With the hope of making a real difference in lives of
children who can’t move independently, our team hosted a special community
outreach event ‘ Diriya Pranama ’
We successfully completed our first phase – ‘Senehase
Athwala’ on 12th January at Sri Sudarmalaya Buddhist Temple, in
Galle from 10.30 a.m onwards. Occasion began with blessings of reverted monk of
the temple.
As a team we donated wheelchairs for children who need support to move and embrace life move
freely. Members of our project found these children by gathering information of
the area.
For further enrichment the day featured with entertainment
event,lasting memories for children and their families. The touching highlight
of the day was parents expressed their ideas on heartful gratitude about the
donations. Also, we witnessed sincere emotions of hope in their eyes.
We are sincerely thankful to all the committee members for
organising fund raising activities. Special thanks for Grama Niladhari Mr. S. G. S. Prabath helped
to find children and Mr. Geeth Kulatunga for contacting the relevant religious
place. And all other resource persons and who held supportive hands for us.
