Project Abhimani – Phase 1: Suwarya Breaking the Silence, Building Confidence: Project Abhimani’s Journey Towards Menstrual Dignity Menstrual health is a fundamental aspect of adolescent well-being, yet it continues to be inadequately addressed within many low-income communities. Limited access to menstrual hygiene products, the absence of proper disposal facilities, and a lack of accurate and culturally appropriate information often create barriers to girls’ health, confidence and uninterrupted education. Addressing these concerns is essential not only for physical well-being, but also for safeguarding dignity, promoting equality and fostering long-term social progress.
