Project ආරක්ෂා Bus Repair Project: Phase 04 The Leo Club of University of Colombo proudly marks the successful completion of four out of six phases of its ongoing project, Project Araksha. Through this initiative, we support the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) by repairing bus braking systems to enhance the safety and reliability of public transportation. The project is driven by self-funded contributions and dedicated volunteer service. Why We Chose This Project Public transportation plays a vital role in the daily lives of thousands of people across Sri Lanka, with buses being one of the most widely used modes of transport. However, frequent mechanical failures especially issues related to braking systems pose serious risks to passenger safety.
