In the heart of Tangalle, where the vibrant energy of young minds meets the transformative power of technology, a new chapter in education was written. On the 29th of March, the Leo Club of University of Colombo proudly unveiled the second phase of TechED Empower under the Together as Humans 7.0 initiative. This time, we set our sights on Tangalle Primary College, where we introduced a smart classroom, igniting a spark of digital learning in the hearts of students.
The event commenced at 10 a.m. with a warm and heartfelt welcome from the principal, whose gratitude and enthusiasm resonated with every volunteer present. As the ribbon was cut and the doors to the smart classroom swung open, the excitement in the air was undeniable. This was more than just a donation—it was a gateway to endless possibilities. In a world where technology is rapidly redefining the way we learn, access to digital tools can be a game-changer. The smart classroom at Tangalle Primary College is equipped with modern educational technology, enabling students to explore, engage, and excel in ways that were once beyond their reach. From interactive lessons to virtual learning experiences, this initiative paves the way for a future where every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive in the digital era.
