             ELATION 2025 - Selection Round


Elation is the biggest talent competition in Leo Multiple 306, Sri Lanka & Maldives. It provides a platform for individuals to showcase and develop their hidden talents. Created by the Leo Club of the University of Colombo 306 C1, Elation has set a standard for talent searches across the Leo Multiple District 306, partnering with other performing clubs in the country. The name "Elation" itself represents the joy of victory through hard work and dedication.


Organizing Elation SL for the 7th year in a row is a major achievement that highlights the event’s success and impact. Over the past 6 years, Elation has become a well-known event in the Leo Movement, drawing participants and audiences from all over. The project has earned a strong reputation for discovering young talent, encouraging community involvement, and offering a platform for performers to display their skills.


The event unfolds in two distinct phases. The first phase, the audition round, is intended to discover and recognize talented individuals in various categories, including singing, dancing, and performing arts. This round was held on the 16th of March 2025 at the Faculty of Management and Finance premises, University of Colombo. On the day of auditions, over 100 contestants representing diverse Leo clubs showcased their abilities, each aiming to impress the judges with their creativity, skill, and performance. The day was filled with vibrant energy as participants took turns presenting their acts, culminating in the selection of 13 outstanding contestants to advance to the final round.


The second phase, the final round, serves the purpose of celebrating and rewarding the finest talents identified in the audition phase. This grand event is scheduled for the 27th of April 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM, at the New Art Theatre, University of Colombo. The final round will feature live performances by the selected finalists, providing them an opportunity to compete for top honours. On the day of the final event, the audience will play an active role by participating in live voting to select their favourite acts. The event promises to be a memorable occasion, enriched by special guest appearances, awards for outstanding performers, and a showcase of the diversity and creativity that defines the Leo community.
