To provide relevant facilities to the people in Sri Lanka who do not have access to safe drinking water, we selected school children of Wijayaraja Kanishta Vidyalaya in Puttalam District who were facing a severe problematic situation due to the lack of clean drinking water. We donated a water filter to them as the second phase of the project making an effort to provide clean drinking water to future generations. This donation was done on the 20th of March 2021.
The final phase of the project One Drop 3.0 was completed by planting Kumbuk Trees in 4 areas around Anuradhapura and Puttalam. This was Phase 03 of our project and was successfully completed on 26th March 2021. Completing the three phases as planned, we were able to conclude the project “One Drop 3.0” successfully for the year 2020/21, being able to conserve clean water and energy productively and sustainably. We must save today to survive tomorrow. All the natural resources have to be saved. And the project “One Drop 3.0” is a great effort of us joining hands to save life on mother earth!
