“Walking Heart: Lighting a path of hope and confidence for the visually impaired.” The Leo Club of University of Colombo started the "Be Their Vision" project with the aim of helping hand to the blind and visually impaired people in Sri Lanka who need help. On January 24th of 2024, first phase of the "Be Their Vision" project was successfully completed. We would like to express with great happy and humble pride that it was able to be done in a very effective and success manner as expected for the 8th time. The first phase of the Be Their Vision project called "walking heart" was carried out at the Colombo National Eye Hospital with the welfare of blind people perfectly. A donation of white canes was made to the National Eye Hospital.
