As the third step of the project, we organized an all-Island art competition covering the whole of Sri Lanka under the theme "මතින් තොර හෙටක්" to educate schoolchildren about the negative effects of drugs. From all the pictures that came to us, five pictures each from one age group were selected by Professor Chamini K. Hemachandra, head of the Department of Environmental Technology in the Faculty of Technology, and Dr. Nethmini, senior lecturer in the agricultural technology department. Then those drawings were chosen by Mr. Lion Danushka Sandanayake, who came as the chief guest at the February monthly meeting. We went to the school of the student who won first place in All Island in the 6–9th-grade section and organized an awareness program for the students of that school about the negative effects of drugs. This programme is on 19th March, 2024 at Prince of Wales College, Rawathawatta, Moratuwa.
