During the program, we conducted vocational training sessions where the participants were guided in making doormats, improving their cooking skills, and engaging in creative art activities. These sessions were designed to help them develop practical skills that can support their independence and self-confidence. It was truly inspiring to see the enthusiasm and dedication they showed while learning these new skills.
Beyond the training sessions, the day was filled with joy, laughter, and heart-touching moments. We spent meaningful time together by playing games, singing songs, and dancing, creating a lively and warm atmosphere for everyone present. Their talents, energy, and happiness made the entire experience incredibly special and memorable for all of us.One of the most special moments of the day was when they prepared sandwiches for us with great care and enthusiasm. As a one family we happily shared those sandwiches and drinks together, making the moment even more meaningful and memorable.
After the games and activities, we presented the participants with small gifts as a token of love and appreciation. Their smiles and excitement upon receiving the gifts truly warmed our hearts and reminded us of the value of spreading kindness and happiness.
Project Diriya Pranama continues to reflect Leo Club’s dedication to supporting and uplifting differently abled individuals in our community. The time we spent at the Daya Mina Centre was not only about teaching skills but also about sharing compassion, building connections, and celebrating the talents of every individual. The beautiful memories and heartfelt moments we experienced during this program will continue to inspire us to serve the community with greater commitment and empathy.
