තිරසාර 6.0 - Phase 01

                    තිරසාර 6.0 - Phase 01

         Breaking Barriers, Building Futures.

The Leo Club of University of Colombo has once again stepped forward to make a meaningful impact on society with its latest initiative Project තිරසාර 6.0. This year, the project focused on five Grama Niladhari divisions around Horana, aiming to uplift impoverished communities and provide them with better opportunities for sustainable living.

Project තිරසාර 6.0 is rooted in the belief that sustainable empowerment is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. By carefully identifying the most vulnerable communities in the selected domains, the project has been able to focus its efforts where they are needed the most. Understanding the dire economic conditions faced by many families, Leo Club carefully selected 40 families from identified regions, directly benefiting approximately 120 individuals, assuming an average of three family members per household. Through this initiative, the team aimed to offer long-term solutions rather than temporary aid, focusing on economic empowerment, and social well-being.

The successful implementation of Project තිරසාර 6.0 highlights the Leo Club's commitment to Poverty and better life. By providing families with the necessary materials including dry food, they need to improve their livelihoods, the project has laid the foundation for long-term progress in these communities.

Moving forward, Leo Club of University of Colombo aspires to expand this initiative, reaching more families and enhancing their quality of life. Project තිරසාර 6.0 is a testament to the power of community, and empowerment. As we continue to reach out to more communities, we reaffirm our dedication to this cause to creating a future where prosperity and opportunity are shared by all, making Sri Lanka a stronger, more unified nation. Stay inspired, stay involved, and let's empower those in poverty to build better lives.
