Together As Humans 7.0 - 1st Phase 2nd initiative 


In an era where technology shapes the future, understanding Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a luxury but a necessity. Recognizing this, the Leo Club of University of Colombo proudly hosted an insightful and engaging AI workshop on the 28th of February as part of the second session of the Together as Humans 7.0 project. Mr. Umayanga Sooriyaarachchi, Mr. Nisala Shyamal and Mr. Pathum Harshana who are the members of “Voice of Nalanda” club joined hand with us to conducting this valuable workshop. 

 

The Together as Humans initiative has always been about fostering knowledge, unity, and personal growth. This time, we took a deep dive into the fascinating world of AI, ensuring that university students had the opportunity to explore its transformative potential. The workshop served as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical application, helping students gain a better grasp of how AI impacts industries, careers, and everyday life. 

 

The workshop featured expert speakers and interactive discussions, making AI more accessible to students from all backgrounds. Engaging activities and live demonstrations brought AI concepts to life, making the session not just informative but also highly interactive. The participants had the opportunity to ask questions, discuss AI trends, and even network with like-minded individuals passionate about the field. The impact of this session extended beyond just learning—it ignited curiosity and excitement among students about AI’s potential. As AI continues to redefine industries and careers, our goal was to equip students with the awareness and motivation to embrace these technological advancements confidently.

 

This workshop was a stepping stone in our journey to empower students with knowledge that will shape their future. As Together as Humans 7.0 progresses, we look forward to creating more impactful sessions that bring students closer to the skills and insights they need in an ever-evolving world. Penned By,

 Project ආරක්ෂා   Bus Repair Project: Phase 02 Leo Club of the University of Colombo proudly celebrates the successful completion of Phase two of our six-phase community service project.
