As we embarked on the 5th phase of our Sahurda Viyamana Continuous Project on March 22nd at the Jayaviru Samadhi Rehabilitation Center, we were filled with anticipation and a sense of purpose. Before commencing our activities, we made sure to seek permission from the head of the center, ensuring that our endeavors were in line with their protocols and objectives. With their gracious approval obtained, we set the stage for a meaningful and impactful event.   One of the highlights of the day was the presence of Mr. Indika Wickramasooriya, a distinguished lawyer, who generously lent his expertise as a resource person. Mr. Wickramasooriya engaged with the inmates, offering profound insights into the meaning behind the songs performed during the session. However, in consideration of privacy concerns raised by the officers, we respected their decision not to permit photography of the inmates. We aim to create an inclusive platform where children from diverse backgrounds could come together to showcase their artistic talents and promote cultural understanding. Our goal was to use the universal language of creativity to celebrate diversity. The day kicked off with a simple yet profound introduction to what leadership truly means. It wasn't just about guiding others; it was about self-awareness, responsibility, and the power to make a positive impact. This session wasn't just for the students; teachers and principals participated, reinforcing the message that leadership is a lifelong journey, not just a title. The camp was filled with a variety of activities, each carefully designed to instill key leadership qualities. But it wasn't all talk and chalk. We took the learning outside, engaging everyone in outdoor activities t

Conquering Wewathanna: A Leo Club Adventure with Leadership Lessons The rooster hadn't even crowed when 30 bleary-eyed Leos, a mix of regime members, club members, and enthusiastic adventurers, piled into a bus at the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo. Our destination: Wewathanna, Madamahanuwara, a scenic mountain range calling us for its first-ever Leo Club Venture Camp. Our pre-dawn departure was fueled by a mix of nervous excitement and the promise of an unforgettable experience. As the miles ticked by, conversation flowed like a mountain stream, breaking the early morning silence. This wasn't just a journey to a campsite; it was the beginning of a leadership odyssey. By 10 am, we reached our rest stop, a welcome break before tackling the main event - the hike. The trek to Wewathanna wasn't a silent, single-file affair. It was a symphony of laughter, shared stories, and friendly banter, forging stronger bonds within the group. We learned that t
