Lead C1 - Phase I

"The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers."

                                                                              - Ralph Nader-

An unforgettable leadership development camp aimed at honing the skills of tomorrow's leaders. This meticulously planned camp was not just an event but a transformative journey that left an indelible mark on all its participants. Here, we dive into the highlights and the profound impacts of this remarkable experience.

Our out-boundary camp was held at the university premises. Both Leos and Non-Leos took part in that. Our training session was conducted by STF with energetic strength to help us get to know them better, they gave us a brief introduction. They then engaged in some warm-up exercises to ensure a smooth start to their training. In addition to physical workouts, warm-up activities also included some mental-speed activities. That was incredible.

A few of us erred in our calculations on some math assessments. Then, at random, they split us up into three groups. It was helpful for us to make new friends. Our trainers have instructed us to create a group name, designate a leader, and choose a tagline for the group. Discussing each member's viewpoints was beneficial, helping us learn about diverse perspectives, accept advice, and pay attention to all suggestions. These represent the signs of a real leader. Each exercise they gave us made sense in developing our leadership skills.

There were more than twenty-five intriguing things to do that day. From now on, these are the things we think are the most noteworthy. Those pursuits provided us with life-changing inspiration and captivating moments. One particular activity was really fun. Every member of the group was required to walk on a rope, much like a vine bridge. By practising super balance, each group member gave their all to win. Each participant also controlled their time to accomplish the goal. There was yet another pastime that made everyone laugh a lot. Members of the group were tasked with utilizing their resources to create the longest-ever clothesline.

A few participants utilized their T-shirts, socks, shoelaces and pants. Each specific item ought to be connected to the others. We saw that working together would give us more success. Furthermore, we had to do an exercise that assessed our ability to memorize. The trainers presented a few items, and we had little time to recall 25 of them. Then we wrote it based on everyone's memory. After that, they practically demonstrated to us how to get ready for an emergency. Because in difficult times, leaders are always willing to take chances. In addition, we engaged in running events with some funny activities.

The STF trainers selected the young leaders who performed the best after the outbound session. Since the goal of this phase was to identify young personalities, the chosen leaders ought to conduct another leadership camp for chosen prefects at the school. To sum up, the Leadership Development Camp was more than just a gathering; for many who attended, it was a turning point in their life. It was a lighthouse that illuminated the way to transformative leadership and established a new standard for programs to develop leaders. Its effects will surely reverberate for years to come, motivating a fresh generation of leaders equipped to take on the problems of the future.
