Alert 6.0 3rd Phase  According to estimates from the IARC Global Cancer Observatory, in 2020 almost 280 000 children and adolescents (aged 0–19 years) were diagnosed with cancer worldwide and almost 110 000 children died from cancer. After 15 years of studying, it is concluded that pediatric cancer incidence rates are increasing in Sri Lanka in parallel with global statistics. Because of major treatment advances in recent decades, 85% of children with cancer now survive 5 years or more. As we are a third-world country, our survival rate is low due to poor economic status. Each pediatric cancer patient needs different medications according to their cancer type. Some medicines are so rare to find. As a government hospital, Maharagama Apeksha Hospital is unable to find all the medicines with the lack of donations these days due to the economic crisis.  As our 3rd phase, we donated essential medicines and sanitary items for pediatric children in Maharagama Apeksha Hospital. Every pediatric patient with some cancer like Leukemia needs blood from outsiders cause they are not able to do it on their own body. So, we aim to help with their treatments as so many patients need to get blood from outside to live. And it will help them to live even one day. As the 1st part of Alert 6.0 2nd phase, we conducted a blood donation program at the Faculty of Technology University of Colombo on the 27th of February 2023.  Theertha- 3rd Phase of Project Kruthaguna 5.0 Through ‘’Theertha’’ the 3rd phase of project Kruthaguna 5.0, we needed to uplift the moral, emotional wellbeing of the elders residing in St. Joseph’s Elders Home. Elders should be given the opportunity to express their inner feelings; happiness, feeling of loneliness, love with the crowd around them. Rev. Sister Superior Sajeewani provided us the information and through her guidance we were able to identify the major needs of the elders residing in this place. On 22nd April 2023, our team went there with full of hopes and we were able to donate essential dry rations, few essential medicine and other materials which were needed for this place. After the Covid pandemic they had been unable to interact with the outsiders. They were so pleased when we arrived. Rev. sisters look after them with loving kindliness.
