Project Beyond the Frame is a Dual – phase project implemented by Leo Club of University of Colombo in collaboration with Leo District 306 C1. The first phase of the “Beyond the Frame” titled “Leo Pulse” was held on April 27, 2025 at The Garden – Fusion Cafe, marks the beginning of an inspiring series designed the showcase leadership excellence and the transformative journey of Leoism. This inaugural session featured the District President Leo District 306 C1 Leo Nisal Dulmith FLM, District Vice President Leo district 306 C1 Leo Anjana Udesh FLM and Chief Region Chairperson Leo Lion Ravindi Hettiarachchi PFLM, who shared their unique experiences, insights and personal stories from their leadership and Leo journeys.
Leo pulse aimed to create an engaging and authentic platform where Leos could connect with leaders beyond their official roles. Through a blend of series discussion and light hearted, funny questions, the session highlighted the human side of leadership, capturing both the challenges and the joyous moments that have defined their paths. The initiative offered rare glimpse into how Leoism has shaped these leaders' personal growth, community engagement and perspective on service.
The conversation explored the profound impact the Leo movement has on society - empowering youth, driving community projects and fostering leadership skills that extend far beyond club activities. Each leader passionately spoke about the importance of joining the Leo family emphasizing how it opens doors to self-development, life-long friendships and meaningful change. Recognizing the importance of inspiring new members, the leaders also delivered heartfelt messages to those outside the Leo movement, encouraging them to take the leap and experience the power of service leadership and community firsthand.
