Due to the harmful effects of this habit, many issues have arisen, particularly in the younger generation as more and more teenagers experiment with different substances. Seeing how important it is to protect our children, Leo Club of University of Colombo organized a project called “ මතින් තොර හෙටක් ” that consists of three main phases. As the project's first step, we planned a session to talk about the harmful effects of drugs. The event took place at the Piliyandala, "Senehasa" Rehabilitation Center on December 3, 2023. This wasn't just an entertainment escapade; it was a thoughtful gesture, complete with a delectable lunch and special badges, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of our unsung heroes. Recognizing the magic of collaboration, we enlisted the support of the Leo Club from the University of Colombo to weave essential threads into the success of our event.
