Together as Humans 6.0 – Third Phase – “Innovate Space”
"We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher's hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world."
- David Warlick
Information technology is a passport to the modern world, and sadly, not all students in Sri Lanka hold this passport. Rural schools often lack the resources to equip students with the crucial skills of computer literacy. Recognizing this gap, our team at Together as Humans embarked on a mission to bridge the digital divide in a remote school.
The warm reception from the principal, teachers, and students was heartwarming. Seeing the joy on the students' faces as they explored the revitalized lab was a truly rewarding experience. We weren't just delivering a computer lab; we were delivering opportunities.
Our team even conducted a basic computer literacy session for the younger students, witnessing their eagerness to explore this new digital world. This project transcended mere renovation; it was a chance for us to empower a future generation. With Together as Humans 6.0 successfully completed across three phases, we walk away with joyful memories and a resolute commitment to continue empowering communities by bridging the digital divide.
